But that's just the packaging. Even though it's reasonably priced, the aroma is impressive. The brew itself is rich and smooth, making it perfect whether you want coffee in the morning or an afternoon pick-me-up. Fair warning though: you'll need a proper coffee maker or at least a Turkish pot to brew it properly—regular cup brewing won't cut it. Our guests have been really happy with it, and we've found that adding milk or cream gives it a nice smooth texture, though it tastes best on its own where you can really notice the flavor. I switched from Folgers to try this because of the lower price. It's decent, but I have to be honest—Folgers has more flavor and seems to have more caffeine, which I'm used to. If budget is your main concern, this works, but I'm going back to Folgers. The coffee was fresh at least, and you do get what you pay for.

I'm a sucker for dark, strong coffee. I found this at really good prices on both Amazon and Walmart, but Amazon had the best deal, so I grabbed 5 bags. It's a new flavor for me but Maxwell House never disappoints! Huge thanks Amazon for helping me save money while keeping my morning coffee delicious! One more thing—the package said it wouldn't arrive until Nov 30-Dec 15, but it showed up Nov 18. Excellent! Happy holidays!
