Maxwell House Decaf Instant Coffee

This decaf coffee really impressed me with its excellent taste and affordability! My doctor wanted me to reduce my caffeine intake due to high blood pressure, so reluctantly I had to give up regular coffee. BUT this brand makes the switch way easier than expected—it's genuinely delicious!

I wasn't much of a coffee drinker until I tried some decent cups at university and McDonald's years back. I attempted to recreate McDonald's coffee at home based on their recommendation, but it was pricey and tasted awful no matter what I did. That turned me off coffee entirely for six years while I relied on energy drinks instead, which hurt my health. Now I can't tolerate caffeine without feeling sick, so I stick to decaf tea. Recently I decided to give coffee another shot since I didn't want to deal with machines, so I grabbed this Maxwell House instant decaf after seeing all the positive reviews at a reasonable price. I bought the smaller 8 oz containers since I prefer those. Mixed up a cup with a heaping tablespoon and was pleasantly surprised. Added some non-dairy creamer and a touch of sugar to the second half and absolutely enjoyed it. I've since started drinking it straight black and it's fantastic on its own. The decaf has antioxidants too, which is an added bonus. Fingers crossed the tiny bit of caffeine won't upset my stomach.

I needed a quick alternative when Amazon's Happy Belly brand had a long delivery wait. This well-established brand came in at a similar cost with equally good or better flavor. It's a solid, no-frills instant coffee at a reasonable price point. Just a heads up—this is decaf, and that label is pretty small so you might overlook it.

Excellent value and quality product. Hope this positive review doesn't cause a price increase! I make my own blend by mixing equal parts regular and decaf instant coffee in a big container and drink it daily. I actually prefer this to Folgers, so I'm really satisfied.
