Maxwell House Original Roast Instant Coffee, 8 Oz Jar

This jar keeps me going for about a month, since I have a cup most mornings and occasionally grab another in the afternoon. The flavor is solid and the price is hard to beat.

The jar top has changed to yellow with blue lettering now, which took some getting used to after years of the classic red lids, but the coffee itself remains consistently good. Maxwell House instant coffee has that reliable, familiar taste that works well when you prepare it correctly with thoroughly boiled water. It's not fancy, but it delivers a satisfying cup at an affordable price point compared to other name brands. The quality inside hasn't suffered despite the new packaging.

My favorite go-to instant coffee! Maxwell House has been a trusted name for American households for decades, and it still holds up as a solid choice. I can't find fault with it, especially considering the reasonable price—nothing like those premium brands that'll drain your wallet faster than a gallon of gas. If you're looking for straightforward, decent coffee without breaking the bank, this is the brand to grab.

It's a decent instant coffee, though not quite as good as Folgers. For the price point of around $4-$4.50, it was acceptable, but at the current $6+ price tag, I'd rather spend the extra dollar or two on Folgers for noticeably better taste. I've been stretching it by mixing it with Folgers to improve the flavor. Unless it drops back to $5 or less, I can't really recommend it based on the current value.

It's really good coffee. Amazon carries the same brand as Walmart, but this one tastes different—richer and more full-bodied. You need less of it per cup compared to the Walmart version, even their Maxwell House line. The Amazon version has noticeably better flavor. I'm definitely ordering from Amazon again.

I wasn't sure instant coffee would work for me, but I decided to try it for the convenience. I've now purchased my third jar and plan to keep buying it. It's quality stuff.

I grabbed this when my usual Folgers instant was unavailable. Unfortunately, this Maxwell House doesn't come close to Folgers in terms of taste—it's missing the depth and smoothness I'm accustomed to. It'll do in a pinch, but it's not something I'd choose otherwise.
