The trick to great instant coffee is boiling your water thoroughly in a saucepan rather than a kettle, adding water gradually as it boils. This method actually saves energy while producing superior results. Maxwell House offers excellent value compared to other name brands, and it's honest, straightforward coffee that stands on its own or can be blended with pricier options. For budget-conscious coffee drinkers who want a trusted brand rather than store labels, this hits the mark.

This is decent instant coffee, though not quite at Folgers' level and considerably better than Happy Belly. At $4-$4.50 it was a fair trade-off for the slightly lower quality, but now that prices have climbed to around $6, I'd rather spend the extra dollar or two on Folgers' superior taste. I've stretched batches by mixing it with Folgers to improve both flavor and longevity. Overall, I wouldn't suggest it above the $5 mark when you factor in taste, value, and cost.

Good coffee. It's similar to what Walmart sells, but tastes noticeably different—fuller and more robust. You don't need as much per cup compared to the Walmart version, even their Maxwell House brand seems weaker by comparison. I'll definitely be ordering this one again through Amazon.
